There are thousands of auctions with the sole purpose of boosting one's feedback. It's even easier than selling things to your friends. Larry, to answer your question, yes a person can bolster their feedback rating very easily. If you were listening to a MIDI file, the sounds were created by your soundcard, and will sound different from computer to computer based on the sound card's ability to interpret the MIDI information. How were you able to hear a piano via a MIDI sample, when MIDI is not a way of capturing sound? MIDI doesn't record anything but information about how a note was played into a MIDI controller.
